Sometimes things go wrong. Not all the contact you have on Facebook is guaranteed to be a positive experience. Like any social networking site, Facebook has its share of bullies and people who want to harass. Within the privacy settings in Facebook you can block people who you don't want to be able to contact you.
At the bottom of the page this page there are also links to Facebook's own guidelines on what to do if you experience difficulties and also how to report abusive content or contact.
