CSE Week of Action Media opportunities

A series of media opportunities are available as the latest week of action to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation gets underway.

On Monday 14th March, Project Phoenix began a week of action to help prevent child sexual exploitation and raise awareness of the issue in Greater Manchester.

The focus of the campaign for this week is raising awareness around the strong link between child sexual exploitation and children who go missing.

Under Project Phoenix, there are now teams in place dealing with child sexual exploitation in each borough of Greater Manchester. Each team offers a joined-up, multi-agency response to dealing with the problem. This week the media have been invited to a range of events to illustrate the methods used to raise awareness about such an important issue.
